The Beaver Lake Gallery welcomes local artist, Suzanne Ray. As an artist, Suzanne aspires to create representations of the natural world that evoke a feeling of being connected with nature. Her intent is to play with color and natural forms to create a sense of wonder.

Suzanne spent 25 years working in the Parks and Recreation field before completing her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at SUNY Oswego. Suzanne then spent time working at the Schweinfurth Art Center in Auburn and at the Everson Museum of Art before retiring. Since then, she has enjoyed nature photography at various nature centers and parks in the Central New York Area and has taught painting courses and volunteered at Beaver Lake Nature Center.
