Pitfall Traps for Bugs

A pitfall trap is a cup partially buried in the ground that is used to collect little critters that are active on the forest floor. As a group, we’ll carefully uncover the traps and try to identify the invertebrates inside of them. Everyone will get a bingo board of potential pitfall findings to see if we can find enough bugs to make BINGO!
