Pond Pals

Explore what lurks beneath the pond’s surface! A naturalist will guide the group down to the pond on the Lake Loop Trail (~15 minute hike one way). There, everyone will get a chance to dig through the pond using nets to scoop up leaf litter and aquatic critters! All materials will be provided. We will be staying on land for this entire activity, but dress for mess and wear closed-toe shoes.

This program is geared toward children ages 5+ with an accompaanying adult.

Free with Park admission ($5/vehicle) but pre-registration is required.
