Sugarbush Saturdays
Here at Beaver Lake Nature Center, March is the perfect time for maple syrup! Take an outdoor tour of the sugarbush to learn all about the history and process of making maple syrup. See the different methods used to extract sap, watch as sap boils down into syrup, and even taste some of the finished product!
The sugarbush is open to the public every Saturday from February 28 through March 28 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Tours of the sugarbush are offered continuously during that time. Tours are free with park admission ($5/vehicle).
Beaver Lake's sugarbush is located 0.3 miles down the Woodland Trail. Test your maple syrup knowledge as you answer maple-themed questions along your way to the sugarbush. Make sure to prepare for chilly winter weather; dress warmly for the outdoor tour of the sugarbush.
